Celebrate Those Artistic Impulses This Fall With Harcum's Makers Series
-- Offering monthly workshops in art and design creating works to take home --
Bryn Mawr, PA – July 21, 2016 –Harcum College will offer four more creative workshops called the Makers Series at Harcum’s Bryn Mawr Campus this fall.
Offered by Harcum’s Continuing and Professional Studies, the Makers Series will get artistic juices flowing using skills to design or create items of decorative or wearable art to take home. One workshop is held monthly from September through December.
The Makers Series includes workshops for:
Nature Printed Pillows – September 10, 2016 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. taught by Harcum Assistant Design Programs Development Coordinator Julian Crooks.
Silk Painting with Natural Dyes – October 15, 2016 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. taught by local dyer and textile artist Elizabeth McTear.
Block Printed Table Linens – November 12, 2016 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. taught by Elizabeth McTear.
Glorious Indigo – December 10, 2016, 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. taught by Elizabeth McTear
The cost for each workshop is $80 and includes all materials. Snacks are provided.
Workshops will be held in the Kevin D. Marlo Little Theater on Harcum’s campus at 750 Montgomery Avenue in Bryn Mawr, PA. To register online, go to www.harcum.edu/makers.
