Chesco Man Wanted For Felony Theft In Rosemont: Radnor Police

Radnor Police said Joseph Corcoran, 29, of Exton, is wanted in connection with the theft of a catalytic converter that occurred in Rosemont.

ROSEMONT, PA — A Chester County man has a warrant for his arrest on theft charges after Radnor Police said the stole a catalytic converter from a vehicle in Rosemont.

According to Radnor Police Joseph D. Corcoran, 29, of Exton, is wanted for felony theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property, theft from a motor vehicle, and related charges.

The charges stem from an incident that occurred at 2:45 p.m. on Friday to the 1000 block of East Lancaster Avenue in the Rosemont section of Radnor.

Police were called to the area for a report of a suspicious person after a witness told them they saw someone underneath a parked vehicle and heard a sawing sound.

The witness told police the person took a catalytic converter from the vehicle and put it into a waiting vehicle before leaving the area.

Police were given information leading them to identify Corcoran as the suspect and the vehicle a black Toyota Yaris.

Anyone with information on Corcoran’s whereabouts is asked to contact Radnor Township Police Department at 610-688-0503 or report it anonymously at 610-687-8851.

Corcoran has previously been convicted and sentenced to probation for endangering the welfare of children and drug possession in Chester County, court records show.
