Conestoga Road Tunnel Closing Through November, Mid December

Crews will be adding a new LED light system to the tunnel to bring it up to PennDOT standards, according to Radnor Township.

BRYN MAWR, PA — The Conestoga Road tunnel in Garrett Hill in Bryn Mawr will be closed for about a month and a half, according to Radnor Township.

The township said the tunnel will close from Monday, Nov. 2 to Monday, Dec. 14.

Crews will be installing an LED light system bring the lighting up to current Pennsylvania Department of Transportation standards

According to the township, the lighting system, to be installed by Miller Bros., will provide better safety conditions in the tunnel.
