Harcum students in the Fashion Club, under the guidance of club advisor and program director Freddie Curtis, laundered, pressed, and folded new pillowcases that were donated to the non-profit ConKerr Cancer.
This service project was done in support of the Centennial 100 Acts of Service. ConKerr Cancer’s mission is to bring the warmth and comfort of home to hospitals that care for children battling life changing illnesses. As a result of the generosity and support of strangers, ConKerr Cancer has provided nearly one million pillowcases to 250 hospitals throughout the country in just seven years.
