Conshohocken State Road Closed By Downed Power Lines

GLADWYNE, PA – A portion of Conshohocken State Road is closed in Gladwyne due to a downed power line, according to Lower Merion Township.

The power line is down at Conshohocken State and Lafayette roads, the township said.

Conshohocken State Road is closed between Spring Mill and Waverly roads as a result and will stay closed through Tuesday morning, the township said.

Local traffic and emergency vehicles will have access to side streets within the closure area, but access through the intersection will not be possible, the township said.

Drivers will be detoured along the following routes:

Heading west

• Conshohocken State closed at Waverly – follow detour to Mt. Pleasant Road, then Mt. Pleasant Road to Spring Mill Road, and Spring Mill Road to Conshohocken State Road.

Heading east

• Conshohocken State closed at Spring Mill – follow detour to Mt. Pleasant Road, then Mt. Pleasant Road to Waverly, and Waverly Road back to Conshohocken State.
