Cops Save Life Of Montco Teenager At Wawa

LOWER MERION, PA -- Quick thinking has the community lauding two Lower Merion cops as heroes.
On Friday, February 12, Officer Jeff Sullivan walked into the Wawa in Penn Valley. By all appearances, it seemed to be a routine stop.
Then suddenly, something happened.

A teenage girl had collapsed to the floor inside the store and was unresponsive, with no pulse.
Along with his partner, Officer Rob Whitt, Sullivan began performing CPR, and quickly used an AED (automated external defibrillator).

After a short time, the girl’s pulse started again and she was breathing.
On the Lower Merion Police Department Facebook page, dozens of commentators hailed the officers as heroes, including the girl who nearly died. The story was shared thousands of times.
