Devon Teen Jumps To Death From Local Bridge
The teen, 17, was found dead in Tredyffrin Township Tuesday morning.

A teen from Devon jumped to his death from a nearby bridge Tuesday morning, according to the Tredyffrin Township Police Department.
The 17-year-old jumped from non-operational railway bridge that the Chester Valley Trail runs across at about 7:44 a.m., police said.
The bridge is in the Berwyn section of Tredyffrin. The boy landed on Valley Forge Road in the roadway, about 50 yards south of Swedesford Road.

Multiple witnesses said they saw the boy jump alone from the bridge to roadway beneath, according to police.
Information on the victim’s identity is being held pending notification of family.
