Tree Falls On Vehicle On I-76 East: Authorities

A tree fell on a vehicle Tuesday afternoon, blocking the right lane of Interstate 76 east near the Montgomery Drive exit.

A tree fell on top of a vehicle traveling on Interstate 76 east Tuesday afternoon, temporarily blocking a lane of traffic during many drivers' evening commute, according to PennDOT and Pennsylvania State Police.

The tree fell near the Montgomery Drive exit on I-76 east at about 3:30 p.m.

Reddit user The_PopeofChili_Town posted a photo of a white minivan with a tree on top of it to the Philadelphia reddit page Tuesday afternoon.

The lane was open at about 5:50 p.m., according to PennDOT.

State police said no one was hurt in the incident.
