An intoxicated Havertown man has been charged after authorities say he pretended to be an undercover police officer during an early-morning incident in Bryn Mawr earlier this month.
Court records show that Jesse Herman, 21, is facing multiple charges for the March 19 incident, including impersonating a public servant, three counts of possessing an instrument of crime, DUI and more.
Main Line Times reports that Herman was wearing a ballistic vest, had what looked like a handgun but was actually a BB gun and was telling people at 4 a.m. in a Bryn Mawr parking lot he was an undercover police officer that was going to “shut this place down.”
