Elementary Schools In Bryn Mawr, Gladwyne Among PA's Best: Niche.com

Three schools in Bryn Mawr and Gladwyne were ranked No. 1, No. 9 and No. 50. Find out which schools earned what ranks from Niche.

BRYN MAWR-GLADWYNE, PA – Niche.com, which you might know for providing rankings on various aspects of living including housing and education, released its findings of the top elementary schools in the country. And to no surprise, the Main Line area has many of Pennsylvania and the nation's top places for kids to get an education.

According to Niche, Ithan Elementary School in the Radnor Township School District is the state's top elementary school.

With it's stellar rank, the Bryn Mawr school is also listed at the 16th best elementary school in the nation.

Lower Merion School District's Gladwyne Elementary was listed as PA's ninth best. The Gladwyne-based school was also listed as the country's 90th best.

Coopertown Elementary in the School District of Haverford Township has a Bryn Mawr address, and was ranked the State's 50th best elementary school. Nationally it was listed at No. 599.

All three schools earned an "A+" grade from Niche, which is based on "rigorous analysis" of key statistics from the U.S. Department of Education, as well as reviews from students and parents, the website said.

Ranking factors include state test scores, student-teacher ratio, student diversity, teacher quality, grade school ratings, and the overall quality of the school district.
