Enjoy Free Rita's In Bryn Mawr For First Week Of Spring

The regional chain has extended its annual 'First Day of Spring' water ice giveaway for a whole week. Read how to claim your cup.

BRYN MAWR, PA — Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard has announced the expansion of their annual 'First Day of Spring' water ice giveaway for an entire week, and you can get your free cup in Bryn Mawr.

The week begins Sunday, March 20 and ends Sunday, March 27.

Now referred to as the 'First Week of Spring' promotion, customers can enjoy a free cup of water ice any day next week after they download the Rita's app and create an account by Sunday.

On the app, users will be given a digital reward that can be used once for a free water ice.

Formerly known as Rita's Water Ice, the popular chain was founded in 1984 by Philadelphia firefighter Bob Tumolo. It was named after his mother, Rita Tumolo.

Currently based out of Bensalem, Rita's Italian Ice has become a popular stop for Bucks County residents and visitors alike and has expanded far past the area, with 540 locations serving customers around the country.

Rita's in Bryn Mawr is located at 958 County Line Road.
