Backwards, The Movie – PCR Fundraiser
- When: Friday, Sept. 21. 7 p.m.
- Where: Bryn Mawr Film Institute
- Why Go: Philadelphia City Rowing, a non-profit youth development program that gets Philadelphia public school kids onto competitive rowing teams and increases their chances of going to college, is holding a fundraiser on Thursday night at the premier of the film BACKWARDS. The film was written and stars a Haverford native, Sarah Megan Thomas, and was shot around the Philadelphia area. The kids from the rowing program are featured throughout the film, and they'll get to meet their Olympic heroes at the premier.
