Thomas Great Hall, at Bryn Mawr College
From the website:
The Bryn Mawr Renaissance Choir will be holding its spring concert on Sunday, March 27, at 2:30 in Thomas Great Hall. We will be singing paired compositions by eight Renaissance composers, including Thomas Morley, Orlandus Lassus, Claudio Monteverdi, Salamone Rossi, and Jacques de Waert. Our director, Ted Handy, has put together pairings that will demonstrate the surprising range of each composer's work. A highlight of the concert will be Thomas Weelkes's weird and wonderful madrigal, "Thule the Period of Cosmography." The Choir includes current students, faculty and alumnae along with other singers from the Philadelphia area. It has been in existence for over 30 years.
