On Friday, September 23rd come to the corner of Linwood and Athens Avenues in Ardmore for an LMVUE BBQ Ribs and Chicken Dinner at the Household of Faith Deliverance Worship Center. $10 a plate gets you BBQ ribs, fried or BBQ chicken, beans, salad, cornbread, beverage and dessert. Vegetarian and kids options too, including mac & cheese! Great food, great community and a great cause. Dinner is served beginning at 5:30 pm, RAIN OR SHINE.
Right across the street at Linwood Park enjoy a park plantwalk with Chris Leswing of Lower Merion Township at6:30 pm. Learn about the plants of the park and see them in their Fall glory.
Then it is Movie Night at Linwood Park! Enjoy dinner and then come on over or bring your dinner to the park and enjoy dinner and a movie. The movie is sponsored by local Community of Faith 6:8 and the Friends of Linwood Park. The feature will be “Megamind” a family friendly movie and the event is FREE. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs and enjoy a nice early fall eve in the Park with neighbors and friends. The movie starts at dark – around7:30 or so, assuming the weather cooperates.
