$20 per abode, pre-registration required
Audience: Children ages 4 and up and their parents.
Our family summer series celebrates the simple pleasures of the summer season. Enjoy evenings out with the kids learning about nature in your neighborhood. Co-sponsored by the Historic Yellow Springs: Chester Springs Studio Toads are great for gardens—they eat bugs of all kids—and can be attracted with a simple toad abode. Learn all about toads, their habits and habitats and explore the gardens of Rolling Hill Park for resident toads. Make your own clay toad abode with help from Chester Springs Studio potter Jessica Greet. Pieces will be bisque fired and available for pick-up two weeks after the class.
Meet at the Conservancy’s cottage. Pre-registration required. Programs will be cancelled if it is raining or the creek is too high—call to confirm.
