
Meditation is the ultimate goal of yoga, according to the Yoga Sutras of Patangali, the seminal text of Classical yoga. This moderate hatha yoga class will prepare the body for meditation. In addition to traditional asana, you will learn seated postures, yogic breathing (pranayama) and systematic relaxation techniques. All classes will end with approximately 10 minutes of seated meditation. This class is appropriate for all levels––from beginner to advanced.
