Lawrence Gallery is pleased to announce a new exhibit featuring the paintings and drawings of Anne Milner titled “Nature’s Skirt.” An opening reception will take place September 6 from 4:00 to 6:30 p.m., with an artist’s talk at 4:30 p.m.
Milner describes her work as a reflection of her passion for nature. “It is an exploration of the beauty and spirit present in the natural world around me,” she said. “I love trees, water, vegetation; and the forms of animals, birds, and the human body. Each of my paintings is a search for an underlying essence, a mystery that is present in these forms.”
