Now in it's 6th year of operation, Pinwheel's mission is to make better eating easier for everyone: whether at home, on the go or in our new all-day cafe on the site of the Bryn Mawr Film Institute! And if you have dietary restrictions or aversions, we've got you covered: we have plenty of vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, dairy-free, etc. options! Our cafe features a full menu of coffee and tea-based beverages, house specialty drinks (including alcohol-free cocktails), and healthy, balanced meals, prepared to order. We are also proud to feature a variety of house-made pastries and healthy snacks. Need gluten-free, vegan or dairy-free options? We’ve got ‘em! You can even enjoy your Pinwheel drinks and noshes while taking in a great film at the legendary BMFI. Our market features all-natural, locally prepared meals, ingredients, and pantry goods to make eating healthy, tasty meals at home convenient and easy. By supporting Pinwheel, you are also supporting our commitment to reducing food waste with our bulk market goods, strategic approach to our low-waste production, and participation in Too Good to Go. Fully restored from 2018-2025 and features rooms decorated in different styles spanning the Rococo Revival to the Aesthetic Movement to the Edwardian period, the Museum was awarded the Victorian Society in America Award for the exemplary restoration and rehabilitation. This landmark preserves the legacy of the Grundy family and offers visitors a unique glimpse into life during the Victorian Era. The Museum’s extensive collection is highly unusual for a historic house museum as almost all the items belonged to the Grundy family. The museum serves as a cultural destination for those interested in antiques, local history, and architecture. Docents take visitors through the meticulously restored rooms, showcasing the elaborate furnishings and sharing stories of the Grundy family’s contributions to Bristol Borough, Pennsylvania, and national affairs. Visitors can also enjoy the expansive gardens and riverfront vistas. Visit throughout the year for special programs, exhibits, and holiday events, including the annual Victorian Holiday House.
