THE ART of FRANK ZAPPA

Back by popular demand, Frank Zappa artist extraordinaire Cal Schenkel returns to Gold Million Records in Bryn Mawr, Pa. for this year's Record Store Day festivities on Saturday April 21, 2012 from 11-5.

Meet the legendary record cover designer for Frank Zappa & The Mothers of Invention, Captain Beefheart, Tom Waits, The Fugs, Tim Buckley and more. Cal will sign and personalize his limited edition prints, original artworks and rare ZAPPA records & memorabilia for this special one-day gallery exhibition show and sale. Admission is free and open to the public.

Record Store Day, now in it's 5th year, celebrates the unique spirit of nearly 1000 independently owned record stores around the globe with special appearances, performances, meet and greets, art exhibits, and other events.
 
Gold Million Records (formerly Plastic Fantastic since 1976) is part gallery, part museum and part record store, and Philadelphia Magazine's Best of Philly 2010 "Best Store for Music Lovers".
