Winner of the Best Independent Film award at the 2010 Sedona International Film Festival, this stylish thriller takes place in 1935, at the height of the Great Depression, and follows the exploits of a charismatic young thief who is forced to team up with a mysterious United States Navy spy on a mission to steal a new device that the Japan military is using to encode its top-secret messages. After discovering that they are pawns in a much larger game, the two reluctant partners work together to devise an intricate but risky scheme to outwit the people trying to use them. The screening will be followed by a Q&A with co-directors Stephanie Argy and Alec Boehm.
