Fall Films: Check Out Bryn Mawr Film Insitute's October Movie Showings

Family-friendly spooky films will be featured Saturday mornings all month long.

Looking for some lighthearted Halloween fun that the whole family can enjoy?

Look no further than the Bryn Mawr Film Institute, because the cinema space will be showing your favorite Halloween movies each Saturday throughout October on top of its long list of other films, new and old.

Ghastly movies will be at 11 a.m. on Saturdays. The dates and films are:

  • Oct. 8, Ernest Scared Stupid;
  • Oct. 15, Goosebumps;
  • Oct. 22, Ghostbusters;
  • Oct. 29, Hocus Pocus.

All Saturday Halloween movies are rated PG.

Other films being shown this month include "The Beatles: Eight Days a Week - the Touring Years;" "Queen of Katwe;" "Snowden;" "The Birth of A Nation," and more. Visit the Bryn Mawr Film Institute's website to see a full list of showings in October and to buy tickets.

The film institute will also be naming a winner for its contest to win a seven-night stay for six in Italy and $1,000 spending cash on Oct. 6 at 3 p.m. on the institute's Facebook page.
