FBI, Police Seek Bryn Mawr Bank Robber

The man here robbed a Citizens Bank in Bryn Mawr in October and another bank in Haverford in September and November.

BRYN MAWR, PA – The FBI and police are on the hunt for a man who robbed a Bryn Mawr bank on Oct. 22 and is suspected of robbing a Haverford bank in September and November.

According to the FBI, the robbery occurred on Oct. 22 at a Citizens Bank branch in Bryn Mawr.

The same man is suspected of robberies on Nov. 23 and Sept. 21 at the TD Bank at 401 W. Lancaster Ave. in the Haverford section of Lower Merion Township.

Authorities said the man came into the Haverford TD Bank branch at about 6:12 p.m. on Nov. 23.

He is described as a black man in his 30s standing 5 feet 10 inches to 6feet 1 inch tall with a medium build and black hair.

On Oct. 22, he was wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, white and black ball cap, sunglasses, and jeans.

In the November robbery, he was wearing a green hoodie with a baseball cap underneath, large black sunglasses, and black cloth gloves.

In September, the suspect was wearing a gray sweatsuit, gray San Francisco 49ers hat, sunglasses, a gray fabric/mask, and gloves, earning himself the "Gray Bandit" moniker from authorities.

The FBI said the suspect should be considered armed and dangerous.
