Former Bryn Mawr Pizzeria Getting New Life From Main Line Brewers
A Main Line brewery has big plans for the former Biga Pizza + Beer location in Bryn Mawr.
BRYN MAWR, PA – After Biga Pizza + Beer closed on Dec. 29, many wondered what would become of the Glenbrook Avenue eatery. And now we know.
Berwyn's La Cabra Brewing is planning to open a new restaurant at 810 Glenbrook Ave.
La Cabra partner and brewer Dan Popernack announced Monday that the brewers are expanding, opening a new eatery Bodega in the old Biga location.

Boedga will be a live-fire kitchen with a focus on preparing food using a wood-burning oven as well as a smoker from chef Luke Loomis.
Bodega will also serve La Cabra’s Flavor Positive brews.

In the announcement, Popernack said much work is needed to be done before Bodega opens, but it expected to open in late spring.
Biga Pizza + Beer closed its doors after serving hungry Main Liners for three years on Dec. 29.
