Senior Radiologic Technology students used Friday, March 6 to complete their day of service for the Centennial 100 Acts of Service initiative. The students hosted a Casino Day at Dunwoody Village, a retirement community in Newtown Square, PA. The event featured a variety of games in the Casino theme, all facilitated by our students for the enjoyment of the residents who could earn “Dunwoody Dollars” and other prizes.
The senior class enjoyed helping put smiles on the residents’ faces and found it to be a very heartwarming and rewarding experience. The students remarked that the time went by quickly and that they were glad to participate in the 100 Acts of Service. The Dunwoody residents expressed their appreciation by encouraging the students to return again.
