Gladwyne Elementary School fourth and fifth grade students recently organized a Cold Cereal Food Drive benefiting Philabundance - a non-profit food bank that serves roughly 90,000 people each week in the Greater Philadelphia area.

Throughout the first few weeks of October, each student was encouraged to bring in one box of cereal for the campaign, with many students going above and beyond by bringing in multiple boxes. Food insecurity has long been an issue in the Delaware Valley, but the coronavirus pandemic and its lingering effects have exacerbated hunger crisis. Thank you to the Gladwyne fourth and fifth graders for organizing a food drive to help out!
