On Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2021, the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania issued a ruling voiding the Acting Health Secretary's school mask order. After the ruling was issued, the Pennsylvania Department of Education announced that the state would be appealing that order on Thursday, Nov. 11, 2021. That appeal triggers a stay of the Court's ruling and keeps the masking order in effect.
