GES : Schedule For Upcoming Half Days

Important Information Regarding Half Days Oct. 29 and Nov. 24

Due to ongoing staffing challenges impacting our transportation department, we are making some modifications to the usual "half-day" schedule for October 29, 2021, and November 24, 2021.

Elementary Schools:

Grades 1-5: in-person classes dismiss at 12:25 p.m.

AM Kindergarten: in-person classes dismiss 11:50 a.m. (as usual)

PM Kindergarten: No school

Middle Schools:

Grades 6-8: virtual asynchronous day

Additional Parent/Guardian teacher conferences to be held during the morning

Identified special education students will receive in-person instruction until 11:55 a.m.

High Schools:

Grades 9-12: virtual synchronous morning until 11:20 a.m.

Identified special education students will receive in-person instruction until 11:20 a.m.

The District will reevaluate the transportation situation prior to the January 14, 2022, half-day in-service day and will communicate the schedules for that day as it comes closer.
