Thursday, September 9th marked the beginning of the 2021-22 academic year in Lower Merion School District as faculty and staff welcomed back more than 8,700 students throughout the District's eleven schools (including the Lower Merion Virtual Academy) following summer vacation. Opening day proceedings included school tours, "get-to-know-you" activities, class assemblies and lots of catching up (all while fully masked!) after summer break. Best wishes to all students, staff and families for a happy and healthy start to the school year!
