Gladwyne Man Jailed For Ethnic Intimidation In Road Rage Incident

Vincent Cirillo III has had previous convictions for making terroristic threats as well as corruption of minors and indecent exposure.

GLADWNE, PA — A Gladwyne man may spend nearly 2 years in prison after pleading guilty to an ethnic intimidation charge, according to court records and a news report.

Vincent Cirillo III, 33, of Gladwyne was sentenced to 11 to 23 months in prison, as well as 3 years of probation, after pleading guilty to an ethnic intimidation charge that came from a July 2019 incident in Lower Merion Township.

Cirillo was initially charged with ethnic intimidation, terroristic threats, simple assault, possession of an instrument of crime, disorderly conduct, and harassment.

According to the Times Herald, Cirillo yelled "it’s a white man’s world" and used racial slurs while brandishing a chainsaw during a road rage incident on July 15, 2019 in Lower Merion.

Cirillo was previously sentenced to 4 years probation after pleading guilty to indecent exposure, corruption of a minor, and terroristic threats in a Montgomery County court back in March 2017.

Then in July 2o17, he was sentenced to another 4 years of probation on charges of terroristic threats.

His father, disgraced criminal defense attorney Vincent Cirillo Jr. was convicted of raping one of his clients in August 2015.
