Harcum College Launches “Pack Your Bags” Scholarship
Several lucky students will receive free room and board from the Scholarship Prize Patrol.

For the second year in a row 20 high school seniors in the Philadelphia region are receiving notification of a special scholarship from Harcum College in an up-close and personal way.
The seniors are getting "Prize Patrol" style visits from the Harcum Admissions Team in what the team calls the “Pack Your Bags campaign”. All of the visits are scheduled for the week of March 26 as the team
will go house to house in the region with the good news – full room and board for the period they are enrolled at Harcum as full-time students.
Harcum decided in 2017 to do something special for talented prospective students to make them feel appreciated. "Our Admissions Open House is Saturday, April 14," said Rachel Bowen, Associate Vice
President of Enrollment Management. "We wanted to make these first-time freshmen feel special about the scholarship they've earned by virtue of their applications and high school grade point averages, which must be
above 3.0."

The visits to students will begin the week of March 26 and will continue until all the students have been contacted. Since the "Prize Patrol" team arrives unannounced, sometimes the recipient is home to receive
their scholarship letters, and sometimes they are not. The scholarship awardees will be majoring in a variety of fields, including Law & Justice, Interior Design, Business Management, and Human Services.
