Harcum College Partners with Bonner Prendergast
Beginning Fall 2015 local high school students can earn college credit taking design courses from Harcum College faculty.

Harcum College will offer students at Bonner Prendergast Catholic High School the opportunity to take Harcum Design Program courses on site, beginning in Fall 2015.
In November, Julia Ingersoll, Vice President of Academic and Legal Affairs, and Julian Crooks, Design Programs Development Coordinator, met with officials at Bonner Prendergast. “It was a really fantastic conversation,” Crooks said. “Their students have greeted the opportunity to take college courses with great enthusiasm. Harcum felt that it would be a great opportunity to expose them to our design programs.”
“The courses will be for-credit courses that could transfer into our design programs as an incentive to attend Harcum,” Ingersoll said. “They will be taught by our faculty. We’re offering two courses per semester, beginning in the Fall with Intro to Interior Design and Fashion Design and Drawing.”
Harcum’s participation is part of Bonner Prendergast’s realCollege™ program, which provides unique opportunities for students to obtain real college credits, not just potential AP credits, on the Bonner and Prendie campus, allowing them to graduate with real college courses already completed.
