Harcum College Welcomes New IT Planning Executive Director

(March 18, 2026) -- Harcum College is pleased to announce the appointment of Paul Tomczak as Enterprise Resource Planning Executive Director, beginning March 23, 2026.

Tomczak brings more than two decades of leadership experience in enterprise software development and project management, most recently serving with Ellucian, where he directed large-scale software initiatives supporting colleges and universities worldwide. During his tenure, he led global development teams, oversaw multiple product releases annually, and played a key role in advancing SaaS-based solutions through major system and API modernization efforts.

A certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Tomczak is recognized for his collaborative leadership style, ability to build high-performing technical teams, and expertise in managing complex projects across international environments.

Tomczak holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Stonehill College.

Tomczak resides with his wife Paige in Downingtown, PA, where he has lived for the past 15 years. He is active in the community and serves as a member of the West Bradford Planning Commission. On weekends, he enjoys hiking in local parks with his four dogs—three chihuahuas named Bandit, Venus, and Coco, and Molly, a German Shorthaired Pointer who thinks she is a 65-pound chihuahua.

Tomczak’s appointment strengthens Harcum’s commitment to strategic execution, operational excellence, and thoughtful organizational transformation. His experience leading cross-functional teams, modernizing student systems, and aligning technology with mission will be instrumental as Harcum advance its institutional priorities.
