Harcum President Jon Jay DeTemple Elected to AICUP Board of Directors
He joins five other college presidents for a first-year term.

(Bryn Mawr, PA) Harcum College is pleased to announce that President Dr. Jon Jay DeTemple was elected to serve on the Board of Directors of the Association of Independent Colleges and Universities of Pennsylvania (AICUP) with his term beginning July 1. Dr. DeTemple, who has not previously served on the board, is a long time AICUP member also serving as AICUP Member Services Committee Chair.
AICUP represents the largest sector of higher education in Pennsylvania, comprising 278,000 students at more than 80 independent nonprofit schools, all working together to advocate for affordable, accessible, and independent nonprofit higher education. The AICUP Board of
Directors is made entirely of college presidents from member schools across Pennsylvania, as well as AICUP President Thomas P. Foley, a former college president. AICUP board positions rotate each year, and the new board commences each July.
