Harcum Women's Volleyball Wins Regional
The team will be advancing to the district title game this weekend.
The Women’s Volleyball team defeated Lackawanna College in four games, 25-16, 25-19, 20-25, 25-16, to claim the 2015 NJCAA Division II Region 19 championship. Harcum head coach Jenn McKeighan and her squad claimed their second straight region championship, and the third title in school history.
The Lady Bears players also received recognition, with Ana Jurisic earning Region XIX Player of the Year honors, and Daydria Walker earning first-team all-region. The 24-5 Lady Bears will now advance to the district title game next Saturday against the Community College of Rhode Island. The winner will advance to the NJCAA National Tournament in Phoenix, Arizona.
