Harriton Road Closing Wednesday In Bryn Mawr

Crews from Aqua PA will be installing new water mains and services throughout the day Wednesday, according to Lower Merion Township.

BRYN MAWR, PA – A stretch of Harriton Road in Bryn Mawr will close for most of the day Wednesday to accommodate water main work, Lower Merion Township said.

The township said the road will close between Morris Avenue and Mt. Pleasant Road Wednesday, Oct. 18.

Harriton Road will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. as crews work on the water mains and services.

Emergency vehicles, buses, and residents will not have through access, the township said. However, all properties will be accessible from one side of Harriton Road or the other, according to the township.

Work will move to the state highway portion of Harriton Road, which is between Morris Avenue to Old Gulph Road, when work on the Lower Merion Township portion is completed, according to officials.

Gatemore Road will also be part of this project, as well, the township said.
