Have A Blizzard, Help A Child On Miracle Treat Day In Montgomery County

It’s going to be another hot, humid day in Montgomery County -- the kind of day that will have you wishing for a Blizzard.

And today, on Dairy Queen’s national Miracle Treat Day, if you buy a Blizzard -- that mixture of soft-serve ice cream with chunks of Oreos or Reece’s Pieces any of several other delectable treats -- $1 from the purchase will be donated to a local Children’s Miracle Network hospital.

In Montgomery County, your money would go to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, a world-renowned institution which offers a variety of therapies for children with special needs, as well as long-term pediatric care.
