I-76 West Lane In Lower Merion Closing Nightly Through Late October

PennDOT said core boring work on Interstate 76 west will take place nightly through late October, forcing right lane closures.

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — Sections of westbound Interstate 76 will have lane closures in Lower Merion Township due to core boring through late October, PennDOT said.

According to PennDOT, from Sunday, Sept. 24 through Friday, Oct. 20, Interstate 76 west will have right lane closures.

The closures will be in effect from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning.

The impacted stretch of road is from U.S. 1 South (City Avenue) to just west of the Gladwyne exit.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays may occur.
