One person is dead after being struck by a train on the Amtrak tracks in Bryn Mawr, SEPTA has confirmed.
The westbound Paoli-Thorndale line was suspended Friday afternoon after the incident, SEPTA said.
Thorndale: Inbound service is suspended due to an Amtrak fatality near Bryn Mawr. Alternate service suggestions are available online.

The incident occurred at 3:51 p.m. on the tracks in Bryn Mawr used by the Amtrak that runs between Philadelphia and Harrisburg, Philly.com reports.
