International Women's Day Food Drive To Benefit ElderNet

BRYN MAWR, PA — In honor of International Women's Day, Ten Thousand Villages in Bryn Mawr is hosting a food drive to benefit ElderNet of Lower Merion and Narberth.

The drive is being held through March 8.

Items can be dropped off at Ten Thousand Villages, 925 W. Lancaster Ave. in Bryn Mawr.

ElderNet of Lower Merion and Narberth provides a food pantry and social services to our neighbors in need.

Items needed for donation are:

• Canned and jarred fruit
• Canned meat

  • chicken
  • Spam
• Shelf stable drinks
  • milk
  • juice
  • coffee
  • tea
• Spaghetti sauce and canned tomatoes
• Cereal and Oatmeal
• Peanut Butter
• Jelly
• Meals-in-a-Can:

• Gluten free and low-sodium items
• Rice and other grains
• Mac and Cheese
• Soups all types

Those making donations are asked to check expiration dates and condition of boxes and cans before dropping them off.
