Invitation to Two Public Events Hosted by Bryn Mawr College Sustainability Leadership Group

BMC Sustainability Leadership group will host two free public events on the BMC campus for Earth Week (April 18-22).

Composed of students, faculty, and staff, the Sustainability Leadership Group's mission is to make Bryn Mawr a more sustainable campus. This year, SLG's "Earth Week @BMC" will be held April 18-22 and will include two free public events.

Tuesday April 19:

7:00-9:00 PM, Thomas Great Hall

Keynote Speaker Jacqui Patterson, Director of the NAACP Environmental & Climate Justice Program will speak about the Flint, MI water crisis, environmental racism, and sustainability.

6:30-9:00 PM, Carpenter 21

Film screening of An Inconvenient Truth, discussion about the film and the climate crisis is to follow with Don Barber, Associate Professor of Geology on the Harold Alderfer Chair in Environmental Studies and Carol Hager, Professor of Political Science on the Clowes Professorship in Science & Public Policy.
