Juveniles Caught Stealing Catalytic Converters In Bryn Mawr: Cops

Police said two juveniles from Delaware were found with two catalytic converters, several tools related to the crime, and over $2,000.

BRYN MAWR, PA — Two juveniles were caught stealing catalytic converters in Bryn Mawr recently, according to Radnor Township Police.

Police said the two juveniles — both of Wilmington, Delaware — were caught by Radnor Police with two catalytic converters, several tools related to the crime, and more than $2,000.

They were caught after a Bryn Mawr resident heard a sawing sound from the apartment complex parking lot.

The person called 911, and as officers came to the parking lot, the two juveniles left in a vehicle before being stopped nearby.

"As this trend of theft continues in our area, we recommend vehicle owners park their vehicles in well-lit areas and consider purchasing exterior surveillance cameras," police said. "As in this case, vigilance is key! See something, say something! Dial 911."
