Main Line Residents Winners in 100 Years of Art Juried Show
Ardmore and Malvern artists win top prizes.
The work of Main Line artists received the top prizes Thursday evening, September 17, at the opening of Harcum College’s 100 Years of Art Juried Show.
Ardmore resident Linnie Greenberg’s piece Neverland won First Place. She will receive a $500 cash prize and a solo show at Harcum College. Ardmore resident Jennifer Gordon’s photograph Study of the Racereceived Second Place. Gordon wins a $400 cash prize.
Two third place awards were conferred on Tony the Banana Man at the Italian Market by Jane McGovern of Media and Longwood Waterlilies Tryptych by Monique Kendikian-Sarkesian of Malvern. They will split a $300 cash prize. Newton Malerman’s Tikun Olam (Jenkintown) and Sandi Neiman Lovitz’s (Havertown) Silk of the Spark both won Honorable Mentions.
