Man Arrested After Breaking Into Montco Home In Daylight Hours: Report
The man reportedly forced his way into a local home just before noon.
LOWER MERION, PA -- A man was arrested Monday after allegedly forcing his way into a Bala Cynwyd home and stealing several items, according to a report.
Shareef Ahmed, of Wyndale Avenue in Philadelphia, allegedly broke into the home on Pembree Circle at about 11 a.m. on Monday, according to Main Line Media News.
An alarm went off and police responded to the scene.

Ahmed was spotted leaving via the back entrance of the home and was taken into custody.
He was carrying with him several items that were missing from the house, the report states.

Police do not believe there was anyone else involved in the incident.
Ahmed was arraigned and is awaiting a preliminary hearing.
