LOWER MERION, PA -- A Lower Merion man convicted in a 2007 drunk driving crash that led to the death of his girlfriend has been convicted for a second DUI incident, according to a report.
Richard Vernard Wagner, 31, of Prospect Avenue, will spend 14 months to five years in jail after being caught driving under the influence of marijuana during a February 2015 traffic stop in Bryn Mawr, the Pottstown Mercury reports.
The incident bizarrely occurred on the precise anniversary of the 2007 crash, the report states. He was driving in West Bradford under the influence of alcohol, cocaine, and marijuana when he crashed and his girlfriend at the time, Megan Bates, of West Whiteland, was killed.
