Meet The Richest Person In Pennsylvania

Meet the person who Forbes says has more money (billions) than anybody in the entire state.

Soup is good food, they say. And it helped make one person the richest in Pennsylvania.

Forbes came out with it's list of the "Richest Person in Every State" this week. And the richest person in Pennsylvania is....

Mary Alice Dorrance Malone, who is worth $3.8 billion. She is heiress to the Campbell's Soup fortune.

Malone is the granddaughter of Campbell co-founder John T. Dorrance and lives in Coatesville. She is the company’s largest shareholder, and sits on the company's board with brother Bennett Dorrance and cousin Charlotte Colket Weber, both of whom are billionaires, according to Forbes.

The Camden-based company currently has $8 billion in annual revenue.
