Michigan Man Stalked Teenage Main Line Social Media Star: Police

Police have arrested and charged the man with stalking, harassment, and terroristic threats, and are seeking a psychological evaluation.

A Michigan man who allegedly traveled to the Main Line to meet a local teenage social media star was arrested and charged with crimes related to stalking and harassment recently, according to authorities.

Michael Leib, 30, of Plymouth, Michigan, was arrested on Nov. 7 by Radnor Township Police and charged with stalking, two different harassment charges, and making terroristic threats, court documents show.

Leib was released Nov. 8 after posting 10 percent of $20,000 bail. He is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on Nov. 16 in Delaware County.

Leib showed up in Radnor to allegedly meet local a teen who is popular on social media sites such as Instagram and YouTube, according to Main Line Media News.

He first came to the teen's home on Oct. 27 and the teen's parents called police but Leib fled. He then showed up again on Nov. 7 but fled before police arrived.

Police said they used the teen's phone to lure Leib back to the home on Nov. 7 and promptly arrested him.
