Mill Creek Road Bridge Over Mill Creek Being Inspected In May

GLADWYNE, PA — The Mill Creek Road bridge over Mill Creek in Gladwyne will be inspected soon, according to Montgomery County officials.

Montgomery County’s Roads and Bridges Department Friday released the upcoming inspection schedule for county-owned and maintained bridges. County crews will be conducting pre-inspection bridge work throughout the next year to make minor repairs before formal PennDOT bridge inspection.

Drivers should expect temporary traffic closures and delays while pre-inspection work is conducted in May on Mill Creek Road over Mill Creek in the Gladwyne section of Lower Merion Township.

Work typically is performed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on weekdays. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

“Our pre-inspection work typically results in some traffic delays,” said Thomas O’Brien, Administrator for Roads and Bridges. “Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through these work areas because slowdowns may occur.”
