Mozart Requiem Performance
Trinity Church Princeton and Redeemer Choirs to perform the Mozart Requiem A Lenten Memorial Concert and Fundraiser

The combined choirs of Church of the Redeemer (comprised of youth and adults) will be joined by the Trinity Church of Princeton, New Jersey adult choir to perform the monumental and timeless Requiem of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart on Saturday, March 5 at 7:30pm at Church of the Redeemer. This Lenten observance memorial concert provides an opportunity to remember loved ones who are no longer with us and to raise funds for Music at The Redeemer.
Dr. Michael J. Diorio will conduct the choirs along with orchestra and soloists. Tom Whittemore is Director of Music at Trinity Church.
Mozart’s Requiem is the most controversial of all his works; surrounded by over-romanticized ideas and conspiracy theories, which is mainly due to the fact that he died before completing the work. For this performance the Bärenreiter edition will be used; an edition of the most accepted version of the composition, which was completed by Mozart’s student Franz Xaver Süssmayr.
