New Main Line Restaurant Hit By Armed Robbers
Two masked men came into a new restaurant that just opened June 8 and demanded money from workers, police said.
MAIN LINE, PA — A new eatery on the Main Line was the victim of an armed robbery Wednesday night, according to police.
Lower Merion Township Police said at about 10 p.m. Wednesday, two men in masks came into Hip City Veg at 76 Coulter Avenue in Ardmore. The business just opened June 8.
The men came into the business around closing time and demanded money from workers, police said.

They then fled the scene in an unknown direction, police said.
The men were described as being about 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighing about 230 pounds. They were wearing Dickies work clothes, police said. Police did not say what the men were armed with.
