Gas may be shut off — about four to eight hours — during work to ensure worker and resident safety.

After installing the gas main, PECO will upgrade services outside homes. At that time, PECO will not need access to the natural gas appliances or equipment inside homes, until directed otherwise.

Only necessary outside work will be completed to begin upgrading your service line. In order to complete the future work, PECO will contact residents directly to schedule for a later date.
